Hair weave saves woman from killer bullet

pmBy Diana FasanellaA 20-year-old Missouri woman avoided being struck by a killer bullet Wednesday with the help of her hair weave.
Scalped by Wal-Mart shopping cartThe Kansas City woman told police she had just come out of a convenience store when a man flagged her down in the parking lot to say that her ex-boyfriend still loved her.
When she responded, “Well, I don’t love him,” bullets started flying.
The young woman said she saw her ex firing a handgun from behind a vehicle so she got in her car, stomped the accelerator and took off. It was only after she pulled into another parking lot to call police that she found one of the fired bullets tangled in her hair weave.
The uninjured woman told police she recently ended an eight-month relationship with the suspect, who was arrested along with his friend.
